Habitat & Lifestyle
In Pakistan, Common Mynas inhabit farmlands, urban areas, and open woodlands. They are omnivorous, feeding on insects, fruits, seeds, and human food scraps. Highly social, they are often spotted in pairs or small flocks. Mynas are cavity nesters, using holes in trees, buildings, or artificial structures for breeding. They are diurnal and exhibit aggressive territorial behavior, often competing with other birds for nesting sites.

Common Mynas are widespread throughout Pakistan, thriving in both urban and rural landscapes, including cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. They are particularly abundant in agricultural regions and near human habitation.
